Advanced Low Voltage IntelliMAX™ Load Switches Integrate Features That Simplify Designs and Speed Time-to-Market

The FPF2500 through FPF2506 advanced load switch family provides full protection to systems and loads that may encounter large current conditions.

These devices contain a 0.23Ω current limited N-channel MOSFET, which can operate over an input voltage range of 4.5-20V. Switch control is by a logic input (ON) capable of interfacing directly with low voltage logic or microprocessors.

Each part contains thermal shutdown protection, which shuts off the switch to prevent damage to the part when a continuous over current condition causes excessive heating. These devices are ideal for replacement of circuits, which use discrete low power management components: fuses, polyswitches, etc.
