0.5A LED Driver with up to 75V VIN and 200mV Feedback Voltage
The LM3402/02HV are compact, efficient constant current step-down (Buck) monolithic switching regulators designed to drive high
power LEDs.
Ideal for automotive, industrial and general lighting applications, it contains a high side N-MOSFET switch capable of driving up to 500
mA and a low 200mV feedback voltage.
The wide input voltage range of 6V to 42V for the LM3402 and 6V to 75V for the LM3402HV, makes these ideal LED drivers for a wide
range of applications.
Hysteretic control with controlled on-time, coupled with an external resistor, allow the converter output voltage to adjust as needed to
deliver constant current to a series connected LED string of varying number and type.
Its low feedback voltage reference allows for a
decrease in the power dissipation through the sense resistor. Output current dimming via PWM and broken/open LED protection complete
the feature set.
