High Resolution SmartSwitch and SmartDisplay
NKK Switches’ high resolution devices provide a high contrast viewing area capable of displaying up to 4 lines of text with 10 characters in a 64 x 32 pixel resolution to maximize clarity.

IS-DEV KIT-1
One SMARTSWITCH™ programmable LCD display module and two PCB mounted tact switches, with flash memory, power and programming connections.
IS-DEV KIT-2
Two SMARTSWITCH™ LCD programmable pushbutton switches on a PC board with flash memory, power and programming connections.
NKK has developed a line of products to assist in demonstrating the SmartSwitch™ product series. These demonstration kits (IS-DEM KIT) can be easily used in the customer’s final design and are programmed by means of our on-line software or through our stand-alone software provided on CD.
The IS-DEM KITs are used to display bitmaps, up to 64, that have been created via the user’s PC. These kits are supplied with an R/G LCD module software, USB cable and programming instructions. Once downloaded, the bitmaps can be displayed and advanced by means of the address control lines without the need of a PC.
These kits can be incorporated into the user’s end product, as the PCB has been designed with allowance for standoffs.
The LCD module can be interchanged to meet the user’s specific color application.
