Freescale’s next-generation PowerQUICC™ III integrated communications processors are designed for symmetrical and asymmetrical multi-core systems. Based on Freescale's scalable e500 core and system-on-chip (SoC) platform, the MPC8572E delivers dual-core gigahertz plus processing performance with advanced content processing and security features.

Freescale provides a complete development suite to reduce time to market and helps to ease migration to dual-core and beyond by utilizing our industry proven e500 core as the base of the MPC8572E.
