Light pipe applications can be as simple as moving light a short distance to actually becoming a structural part of the assembly. Using a combination of LEDs and light pipes can greatly simplify the design of many products, improve manufacturability and reduce costs.

The Rigid Light Pipe family offers a wide range of sizes (length, diameter and lens geometries) that can be installed as part of the PCB assembly or the panel, resulting in a practical and economical solution. Bivar’s patented Flexible Light Pipe offers greater mounting and LED placement flexibility which can be used to span greater distances with minimal loss of light.
